We’re Hiring: 1 Part-Time Weekend Overnight Veterinary Technician at AUCSOC!
Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County is growing — and we’re looking to add a part-time Veterinary Technician to our overnight weekend team! Schedule:
Weekend Overnight Tech – Saturdays & Sundays (11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.)
Potential to transition into full-time Saturday–Tuesday overnights in 2026
✨ Who We Are: We’re a Thrive Pet Healthcare emergency and urgent care hospital open overnight, and 24/7 on weekends and holidays. We partner with 75+ referring general practices and provide medical support for Mission Viejo Animal Services. Our team is built on compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to top-tier care — for both pets and our people.
Your Role Will Include:
Triage and treatment of incoming and hospitalized ER cases
IV catheter placement, blood draws, radiographs, lab work, and anesthetic monitoring
Assisting with surgical prep and patient recovery
Communicating with clients in coordination with our DVMs
Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient treatment environment
Ensuring continuity of care through strong teamwork across shifts
Who We’re Looking For:
RVTs or experienced Veterinary Assistants (Level 2+ preferred)
Emergency or specialty experience is a plus — but not required
Confident in high-pressure settings with strong multitasking skills
Clear communicator with a critical thinking mindset
Positive, reliable team player who brings both professionalism and personality

Pay Structure:
VA Lvl 1 and 2 (Yellow and Green badge) - Not currently Hiring for.
Vet Tech Level 1 (Light Blue Badge): $24–$28/hr
Vet Tech Level 2 (Navy/Maroon Badge): $28–$34+/hr
Shift Differentials (Stackable!):
+$2/hr Overnight Differential (10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.)
+$3/hr Weekend Differential (Friday 6:00 p.m. – Monday 8:00 a.m.)
