At Thrive Terrell Plaza, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to pets and exceptional service to their families. We’re looking for a dedicated full-time Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the welcoming face of our practice and ensure a smooth, supportive experience for our clients and their pets.
 
Hospital Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-12pm
Full-time: 4 day, 10 hour shift with rotating Saturdays

Position Summary:
The Veterinary Client Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in maintaining a positive, professional, and compassionate environment. This role involves client communication, scheduling, recordkeeping, and coordination between clients and the medical team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and patients in a warm, professional manner (in person and by phone)
  • Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and manage reminder systems
  • Accurately maintain client and patient records in the practice management system
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, payments, and invoice processing
  • Communicate estimates, services, and follow-up care clearly to clients
  • Coordinate effectively with veterinary staff to support patient flow
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and supply orders
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front-desk/reception area
  • Manage sensitive or emotional client situations with empathy and discretion
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of customer service experience (veterinary or medical office preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion for animals and their people
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or CSR
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
  • Familiarity with practice management software
