Veterinary Cancer Group was founded in 1992 and has grown from a one doctor practice into one of the largest and most well-renowned veterinary oncology groups in the world. We are thrilled to be celebrating 30 years in practice this year. We’re located in Culver City, near pristine beaches, tranquil hiking trails, superb restaurants, quaint boutiques, museums, Sony picture studios and so much more. Veterinary Cancer Group has three other sites throughout Southern California. We work in the same building as ACCESS collaborating with advanced diagnostic, emergency and surgical services.

**This role will require candidates to travel to two locations, Veterinary Cancer Group LA and Eye Care for Animals Culver City.

Part-Time Schedule as follows:

Part-time Schedule (12:00p - 7:00p)

Monday = (VCG)
Tuesday = (ECFA)
Thursday = (VCG)
Friday = (ECFA)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Kennel Tech experience
Prior Veterinary facilities experience desired, but willing to train the right candidate
Strong verbal and written skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to communicate calmly, clearly and effectively
Ability to handle high stress situations

Essential Job Duties:

Ensure all empty cages are cleaned and ready for the next patient
Wash and stock laundry
Sweep and mop floors in treatment areas, exam rooms and doctors office
Clean wet tables, exam tables, sinks and countertops on a daily basis
Take out trash and line trash cans
Ensure all drawers and cabinets in the trearnebt areas/exam rooms are stocked with supplies
Check and clean drains in front of kennel runs at least once per shift
Dust/clean surface areas
Walk through lobby ensuring cleanliness
Sweep/mop lobby and clean up all necessary trash and spills
Respond favorably to all requests from personnel for help and support

Hours: Part time; 8 hour shifts. Must be available to work from 8am to 5pm.
